Announcement: Foster the People just announced their 2012 fall tour dates, and they will be returning to Seattle on Tuesday June 26th, 2012.  Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am, and per the ticketmaster page will cost $40.00 even with fees (28.00 ticket + 12.00 fee).   Check out the full tour schedule here.

I just saw Foster the People at the 2011 Deck the Hall Ball, and they were by far my favorite band of the entire evening.  And this is coming from a serious DC4C fan… They did an amazing job of incorporating many electro elements in their live performance, especially with the dubstep drops at the end of Pumped up Kicks.  I would post the videos I took, except that the quality is terrible – I just couldn’t stop dancing!

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, however per the official website it looks like they are conducting a presale through Gilt.  Personally, I don’t see this selling out instantly due to the fact that Seattle’s show is on a Tuesday coupled with the large capacity of the WaMu Theater.
