SUMMARY:Tvboo, Shlump & & smith.
DESCRIPTION:Tvboo: Daisy Dukes & Cowboy Boots tour\n\n\n“Dust off those boots, I’M GOING ON TOUR! It still doesn’t feel real to me, but I’m heading out on my biggest headline tour yet. ‘Daisy Dukes & Cowboy Boots’ is my first bus tour and, after the support yall showed me on the Blue Collar Bass tour, this felt like the perfect next step. So excited to be joined by the craziest support Shlump, smith, and Mport for this run. I handpicked each artist to make this the best it could be and can’t believe we were able to make this happen.\nI can’t wait to see you incredible folks and make some unforgettable memories together. We highly encourage throwing together your best cowboy attire and dressing up to the theme. -TVBOO\n\nShlump: Michael Petzel aka Shlump grew up in California’s Bay Area, learning the guitar at age 9 and falling in love with music at first through the energy of metal and punk. Developing a taste for electronic music in high school via Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, and Warp Records, he began to jump into music production, combining drum loops with recordings of his guitar. After being blown away the sub bass in his intro to dubstep, Coki and Cluekid’s “Sensi Dub”, and experiencing his first west coast electronic music festivals, Michael’s love for bass music bloomed and he began to to develop his signature sounds as he dedicated himself to his music career. Infusing elements of classic dubstep with west coast flavor with otherwordly sound design, Shlump has pioneered his unique “Alien Bass” sound, creating a vibrant galaxy of bass filled with forward thinking nuance and massive waves of low end. His live sets take audiences across the continent on a psychedelic spaceship ride through Shlump’s universe, visiting high energy devastating supernovas of bass and voyaging into depeer realms filled with the cosmic twinkle of sonic stardust.\nsmith.: With a sound that’s innovative but carries a familiar flavor, smith. showcases groundbreaking new sounds with all the heart and soul of the classics. Through his personal collection of hip-hop-influenced bass music, smith. initially attracted an audience on SoundCloud with his remixes and edits of timeless hip-hop tracks and chart-toppers alike. smith.’s playful, curious approach to production brings listeners a signature sound that can’t be mistaken for anyone else. Whether it’s an original production or a flip of one of today’s radio hits, smith. delicately manipulates and experiments with noise through his own lens. Equipped with an unforgettable signature sound and a clever creative itch, smith.’s story is just beginning. With new music on the horizon and a stacked tour schedule, smith. is poised to become a trendsetter in the scene and your favorite producer’s new favorite producer.\n18+\n8pm\n Purchase tickets\n Facebook event page\n Return to main calendar\n
