Juana and Lindsey Herbert, both world-wide touring artists and at the front of forward-pushing, driving techno, descend on Seattle for Tenth Aesthetic’s 4th anniversary party July 7 at Substation. Top-tier techno and visuals in a proper warehouse-feel space. Come celebrate 4 years with us, and dance to many more!\nJuana: Juana is a techno DJ and producer from Chicago, currently based in Washington, DC. A staple of the DC scene since 2001, she has made a name for herself as a resident of Unter (NYC), guest at renowned underground DIYs such as Locked Groove, and making the festival rounds at events like The Great Beyond in 2022 and slated to return this year. As a producer, her first release “Discipline Issues” was released as part of a compilation on Katie Rex’s Bound label, and her first independent EP “Floating” landed in 2020. Her most recent EP “Peaks” was released in July 2021, and she also appeared on the TRAX ONLY Soft Touch compilation in spring of 2021 and the Neighborhoods Vol. 1 compilation on World Building in fall of 2021. She is currently working on her first full-length album project for release in 2023. She just wrapped up her second appearance at Berghain, and is about to make her Seattle debut with us July 7th!\nLindsey Herbert: Lindsey Herbert is a forceful name throughout the Southwest USA for fans of trippier techno styles and consistently appears beside A-list names in the busy scenes of LA and SF as well as domestic and international headlining dates as well as appearing twice at The Great Beyond. Making her solo production debut in 2019 on LA’s Ascetic Limited, she’s since doubled down on releases, with recent drops on US underground stalwarts Blank Code, Northern Parallels and Crisis of Man, as well as more European and South American imprints centered around hard strains of techno: Noise Manifesto, Planet X, NECHTO, TMM Records, Gomboc, Seclusion, Granular Spectrum, CommonSense and more to come.
