DESCRIPTION:Do you feel it? Do you feel the energy flowing through you? Moonlight coming down… it’s time to HOWL! July 8th at Kremwerk Impact! Productions is getting the dogs howling, with an exploration of the darker side of hardcore, hardtek, and DnB. Headlining DJ Genki all the way from Virginia, one of the greatest DJs of the hardcore scene, with the freeform bangers. Additionally, we have local support from long time seattle hardcore icons Jimni Cricket and Powermitten, bringing the heat with her unique sound, insane mixing, and mad scratching skills and his fantastic full spectrum performances bringing the crowd into the sets. Coming out of the woods and joining us for the first time is Frrn, local artist and mystic, and Kaleidoscope with a genre-bending set, easing us into the darkness with witchy and hypnotic hard techno. Rounding it out is Impact! Productions co-founder Aliceofsin b2bing with Khatalyst, getting the paws up with Hands Up.\nNow, we’re not only being dark and evil this night, as this time we’ll be doing a charity raffle to benefit Lambert House at the rave! Lambert House is a community center for LGBTQ+ youth age 10-22, providing community, housing, and various support programs to queer youth in the greater Seattle area. All proceeds from the raffle will go to support their continued fantastic work, and we’ve had some amazing prizes donated by members of the community. Raffle tickets will be on sale at the show, 2 for 5$ (single tickets available upon request) and the raffle drawings will happen at midnight and 1am.\nDJ Genki: For the past two decades, Genki has been a driving force and one of the most active DJs in Hardcore music in the States. Known for his unique sound, and his highly energetic live shows, he truly stands out as one of the most innovative and creative performers out there. As one of the most active Freeform DJs in the states, Genki has been dj’ing the style since it’s earliest inceptions, being one of the pioneers of it’s spreading across the nation. From dark, twisted and driving Freeform Hardcore to deep, haunting minimal drum & bass soundscapes and everywhere in between, Genki brings a performance and an experience, not just simply a DJ set.\nPowermitten: Powermitten is Epilectro. Powermitten aims to create and remix everything the world wishes they forgot. Most of Powermitten’s set is self-produced “hands up hard dance” full of nostalgia, live performance, parody, and pure high octane energy. Tracks such as his Rebecca Black “Friday” remix have been praised around the press. Employing tools such as an 80’s midi Casio saxophone, electric kazoos (for those epic trance tracks), rave whistles, confetti cannons, trigger fingers, spandex, and an ever changing array of aural enhancement equipment, it’s a combination of EDM, live performance, and good theatrical chaos.\nJimni Cricket: Known for her quick mixing and cheesy sound, Jimni Cricket is Seattle’s premier happy hardcore DJ. Working the decks since 1999, Jimni has been featured extensively on FM and internet radio stations including Analog Warfare, NAHM, and Afterhoursdjs.org amongst others. Dominating the northwest hardcore scene over the last few years, Jimni has left no city in the area untouched and has recently been touching down in Alaska, Chicago, and Toronto. She is also known for her dedicated fans and it isn’t hard to understand why her reputation precedes her.
