It prioritizes booking diverse DJs and Producers, while also giving opportunities to fresh new artists as well. It’s an open format night genre-wise, so everyone gets to play to their heart’s content whatever they love most. The tempo and energy rises consistently throughout the night, and the theme is space exploration as we experience the many sounds of underground electronic music. Sounds that may seem so new and alien at first, may come to be warm and familiar soon.\nWhat might we encounter on our journey? Bass House, Breakbeats, Drum & Bass and Jungle & who knows what else? Join us on space flight #018 of Quantum and let’s explore the universe of underground electronic music. \nQuantum! #18 is a special Scratch & Bass edition. And that means that Nicholas Nicfit Gilmore will be scratching over the last three sets of the night! Here’s some info on the local DJ & turntabilist himself: An artist that’s been absolutely slaying the decks since DJ since 1996, producing since 1999, and creating soundtracks for films since 2010 through his nights Cross-Faded Cinema. He is an absolute master at his craft and his soundtracks to films he plays live are incredibly well thought out and make so much sense sonically when put to film. A member of Onset Audio and an incredibly talented badman on the decks, we’re so excited to have him out tomorrow night!
