DESCRIPTION:Studio 4×4 presents The Last Party: People start club nights or event production companies for different reasons. Some want a place to showcase music they enjoy, some want a place for community to gather, some want a place to perform. Every project we’ve started in the last 20+ years had a mission, whether it was Trashed, Kingdom, No Signal, Upper Left, Lost, etc., but none maybe as specific as Studio 4/4. S44 began with the goal of building a bridge between generations of dance music lovers in the NW and growing the NW dance culture as a whole. Our hope was all of the events featuring subgenres of house and techno would benefit from us doing what were fairly daring bookings and working to level up the NW.\nAfter almost 12 years and over 500 shows ranging from Tale of Us to Nicole Moudaber to Zhu to Purple Disco Machine, we are announcing the end of the mission. We threw dance music festivals under the Space Needle for thousands and we built a small, but beautiful Wednesday night with an incredibly loyal following under the stars. We said what we needed to, it’s time for the next up to do what they will with it. This will be our final show as Studio 4/4. We’d love to see your face and punctuate this era properly with amazing energy. If you’re not in the NW or not at the part of life where dance floors mean what they used to, then please accept our thanks for your faith when we needed it.
