FreeTekno comes from Europe primarily, where it’s heavily rooted in soundsystem culture, and, as I would personally describe it, is the bastard lovechild of hardcore, techno, and jungle. Running from about 180bpm to 200, it’s an incredible sound that you won’t want to miss.\nGuiding us through the various subgenres of this sound are RIOTSUGARR from PDX, bringing pounding hardtek with elements of sextrance and other genres, Seattle’s own VAST CHAINS who will be adding a dark, grungy beat to the night for his Impact! debut, mixed in with breaks and DnB elements, DISTEMPER23, who will be bringing an all tribe tekno set, which is a subgenre focused on the old school tekno sound & EXIMIOUS, rounding it out with a fun blend of jungletek and hardtek, showcasing the more euphoric melodic side of the genre.
