Codd Dubz & He$h
matt codd and HE$H are teaming up for a massive takeover at Substation on October 2nd! Expect pure, unfiltered double-drop madness and heavy-hitting riddim as two of the absolute filthiest names in dubstep bring us zero mercy.
Codd Dubz: Hailing from the heart of New York City, Matt Coddington, better known as Codd Dubz, has earned his stripes as one of bass music’s most relentless forces — both behind the decks and in the studio. A veteran of the underground and a technician at heart, his explosive live sets and razor-sharp DJing have become a spectacle all their own. Famed for his signature “no-holds-barred” performance style, Codd Dubz has developed a cult following — the self-proclaimed Chop Mob — thanks to his ferocious double and triple drops, precise mashups, and raw crowd control. Whether headlining major festivals or igniting underground stages, he brings unmatched energy and surgical precision to every set. As a producer, Codd Dubz has left an indelible mark on the bass scene. His discography spans some of the genre’s most respected labels, including Monstercat, Never Say Die: Black Label, Disciple Round Table, Circus Records, and Buygore. His work has garnered heavyweight support from the likes of Subtronics, Svdden Death, Excision, Flux Pavilion, Liquid Stranger, NGHTMRE, and Slander, cementing his role as both a crowd favorite and an artist’s artist. Codd Dubz’s influence stretches far beyond the States, with international appearances across Europe and Australia, and standout performances at major U.S. festivals like Lost Lands, Dancefestopia, and Forbidden Kingdom. With momentum only building and his reputation firmly established, Codd Dubz continues to push the boundaries of what bass music can be — both in the booth and beyond.
HE$H: Representing his hometown of Dallas, TX with great pride, Joey Verrando aka HE$H has paved his own path in the dynamic world of bass music. HE$H sits at the table alongside today’s dubstep titans with a signature sound characterized by an aggressive production style and Dirty South hip-hop influence. HE$H is known for his natural ability to command a crowd. Since his explosive introduction to the scene, he continues to be a staple on the world’s biggest dubstep festival lineups, including Lost Lands, Bass Canyon, Forbidden Kingdom, and more. Beyond his mastery behind the decks, HE$H has produced a killer music catalog through his label, FSR, which has released countless dubstep anthems from heavy bass artists and HE$H himself – including iconic cuts “Hit a Lick,” “Mike Tyson” and “Nun Hold My Strap.” In recent years, HE$H released his 2022 debut full-length album, ‘OPEN SZN,’ 2023’s ‘SHOCK THERAPY EP,’ 2024’s ‘ANARCHY EP,’ and a myriad of hard-hitting singles. To kick off 2024, HE$H set off on his headline SHOCK THERAPY TOUR across North America, which earned massive acclaim and many sold out stops, before heading out on his second headline tour of 2024, ANARCHY TOUR. Charging forward into 2026, HE$H continues to prove himself as a key figure in the scene. With an extensive touring schedule and growing repertoire of new music on the horizon, HE$H is set to elevate his commanding presence in bass music to the stratosphere.
