Hoang: Hoang’s curiosity and love for music started at a very young age. As a toddler, his dad recalls that he used to crank the stereo to full volume and dance ecstatically around the house. This would drive his mom crazy. This would drive his mom crazy. Fast forward 25+ years and not much has changed. While living in Los Angeles, Hoang held residencies at some of the biggest clubs (Avalon Hollywood) and was part of the long-standing Basic Promotions crew for a number of years, opening for DJs like Lee Burridge, Ian Pooley, Inland Knights, Justin Martin, Matthew Dear, and Morgan Page. After moving to Denver, Colorado in 2010, with friends Sami Tanamly and Brick Lee, re-branded The Blend and started up a monthly at The Meadowlark, showcasing local talent each month. Keeping to the namesake, the night focuses on removing genre boundaries for a different type of music experience. (c/o Resident Advisor)
Danny Olson: Danny Olson is a classically-trained Composer, Electronic Music Producer and DJ residing in Los Angeles, CA. He has always rigorously cultivated and pursued his passions for both electronic and cinematic music, focusing his energies on film scoring, composing music for movie trailers, and creating crossover dance records. This multi-faceted approach of blending genres and challenging conventions has resulted in the creation of his signature musical style, “Cinematic Bass.” His debut release, a remix of blackbear’s “Sniffing Vicodin In Paris”, accrued over 10M streams across platforms. Since then, he’s had many successful releases with imprints such as Seeking Blue, Lost In Dreams / Insomniac, Lowly, HEXAGON / Future Records, Proximity, Heaven Sent and Kannibalen Records.
