Jovonn (NYC): A true pioneer of the NYC and New Jersey ’90s house sound, Jovonn has been shaping dance floors for over 30 years. He first made waves in 1991 with his breakout release, “Turn and Runaway.” With over 500 records spanning house, R&B, hip-hop, and neo-soul, Jovonn’s heart beats strongest for house music. His iconic tracks, including “Back in the Dark,” “Garage Shelter,” “I Can’t Make Up My Mind,” and “I Wanna Go To A Club,” continue to inspire and move crowds around the globe.
Marc Cotterell (UK): They say if you can’t beat them, join them, and Marc Cotterell knew from the start that the golden era ‘90s house sound could not be beat. Holding its place as one of house music’s most beloved periods, Marc happened to fall in love with the deeper house stylings of that decade in 1993. He’s been climbing the ranks of the zeitgeist’s most valuable players ever since with his productions, Plastik People label, and Djing as leverage. Born in Britain and based in the United States since 2006, Marc Cotterell is the founder of Plastik People Recordings, Rhythm N Vibe Recordings, and Rhythm Vibe Records. With a career spanning more than three decades, he has become a respected figure in the global garage house and jackin’ house scenes. Through his labels, Marc has released vinyl and digital music that helped define the modern underground house sound, championing both new and established artists worldwide. His own productions and remixes blend classic US and UK influences with a deep, soulful, and dance-floor-driven aesthetic. Dedicated to preserving the roots of house while pushing it forward, Marc Cotterell continues to shape the sound of garage house across the globe.
