For the FIRST time in Seattle, we’re hosting the phenomenal Laura Van Dam, fresh from her electrifying performances at Tomorrowland and ASOT radio. Supporting Laura are STF favorites – DJ Gotek, Bella Rose, and Bryan Kyes. Hold tight, there’s MORE! To mark our return to Vue Seattle’s main room, we’re THRILLED to announce our 2nd complete takeover of the Vue Seattle complex. Dive deep with Seattle’s most prolific techno crew DEPTH in the Vue Basement and groove to a special curated house music experience in the Hypebeast room featuring JAME$ERVIN, James Scott, Cosmic Joke, Jon Sleep & 1FatJacki.
Laura Van Dam: Being labeled ‘The Future of Dance’ by 1001tracklists.com: rising star Laura van Dam, based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, is making one move after the other. Signing her music to renowned progressive house labels like Anjunabeats, DOORN, Epic247 and Armada Music. Performing at some of the biggest influencing festivals and venues, including Ultra, Sunburn Festival, Groove Cruise, Parookaville and Privilege Ibiza and recently being invited by Armin van Buuren to perform on A State Of Trance Radio. With her unique music style combining deep progressive sounds and dark energetic beats Laura is bound to make major waves in her career.
It all started when a young girl Laura fell in love with electronic music at the age of only 12. Her music career started by winning a famous DJ contest at the Blue Marlin on Ibiza at the age of just 17 years old. After this Laura got inspired to take her career in music serious and she graduated in “Electronic Music Production” and studied “Audio Engineering” at the SAE Institute in Amsterdam. This has helped her develop professionally and allowed her to bring her music and shows to the next level. This paved the way for Laura her releases on some of the best labels in progressive house, like DOORN Records, Protocol Records and Smash Deep. Laura also got requested by Deezer to remix a classical peach from Beethoven in celebration of his 250th Birthday.
Over the past few years Laura worked as A&R and personal assistant for Sander van Doorn, producing his Identity Radio and co-managing DOORN records, where she oversaw the talent scouting and new signings of the label releases, while having the opportunity to work close with her mentor and develop herself in her music. Laura van Dam receives support by all the major tastemaker artist in progressive house and trance, like Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Sander van Doorn, Nicky Romero, Oliver Heldens and many more… Keep your eye out for Laura as she is one of the most promising female electronic artists today.
