Happy birthday to us, all of us, including you! It’s been a year of the Makes Me Human monthly event series and we loved sharing the dance floor with you, creating an ambitious, exploratory space for dance music in Seattle. Because it’s our birthday, MMH residents Kinjo and Konifer will be b2b to kick the party off with their meandering mix of grooves and psychedelic breaks.

Mihai Pol: For our one year party, we welcome Mihai Pol to his first appearance in Seattle. If you’ve been wondering who is the mysterious unknown artist behind so many sold-out Telum records, here is your answer. Get ready for Mihai Pol’s characteristic creativity, clever sampling, and eternal groove as he takes us on a trip. Mihai Pol describes himself as “born and raised in the center of Romania, surrounded by astonishing nature, dancing mountains and happy animals” and his ample imagination is fully invested in his production with releases on internationally charted minimal labels including Aline Brooklyn, abartik, Curtea Veche, More Than Music, and Subtil. Behind the DJ booth, he is a regular at Sunwaves alongside frequent appearances across Europe.
