Sepp & Max Coletto
Makes Me Human’s spring series finale is June 20 at Monkey Loft. Sepp, our special guest at the original MMH party at Kremwerk, will be back. His sets are energizing rollercoasters of groove which have made him one of our favorites to emerge from the Romanian scene. He is also a remixer on Rhizome Records’ Midnight Sun EP [RHZ005] now available on Bandcamp. Joining Sepp will be Max Coletto who is a resident for the You Know What party series in LA in addition to managing Chapter One Records shop. Also an up&coming producer, Max Coletto released a lively mini-album on Rhizome Forms last year.
Sepp: Together with Nu Zau, Sepp curates the UVAR label, which has been a mainstay in the underground international scene from before the Rominimal moment. As a producer, Sepp appears on a range of vinyl imprints including head-turning moments on Rawax and pure craftsmanship on Bleu Ciel. Closer to home, Sepp remixed “Yanomamis” into peaktime muscle on Rhizome Records’ recent vinyl RHZ005.
Max Coletto: Another Rhizome artist, Max Coletto of Chapter One Records / resident at the You Know What! Party series, will make the trip up from Los Angeles. Max released 2024’s phenomenal digital mini-album Smoke Point and has been developing a reputation across Southern California for his luscious DJ sets. Following Seattle, he’ll begin an inaugural European tour.
Ana-Lucid: We recommend arriving early to catch MMH resident Ana-Lucid warming up the dance floor with her attention to flow and style. Ana-Lucid’s skills are in increasing demand across Puget Sound and she’ll be playing her first out-of-state festival in Portland later this year.
