Sonny Fodera & CID
Seattle’s getting a full summer of Day Trip! We’re excited to announce our first summer series in Seattle at Victory Hall Outdoors with Day Trip Block Party! Kicking off June 5 with Sonny Fodera and CID, the season runs through September with Layton Giordani, Walker & Royce, San Pacho, HUGEL, Purple Disco Machine, Riordan and more.
Sonny Fodera: After a decade since his first release at the age of 23, Australian born Sonny Fodera has created his own brand of groove driven and emotive house music that resonates with devoted fans around the world. His masterful mixing in the booth and renowned DJ sets have lead to sold out tours in the UK and N.America, including a headline show at Tobacco Dock in London, Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, The Shrine in LA & Avant Gardner in NYC, whilst also holding down a summer residency at Ibiza Rocks. Sonny tirelessly travels the globe playing shows and countless major festival performances including Coachella, EDC Vegas, Tomorrowland and WMC Miami.
CID: CID is one of the hardest working artists in music. The artist, DJ, producer, Night Service Only label boss and radio show host learned to DJ at the age of 11. Now, NYC-based CID is rated by everyone from Lee Foss, Fisher, MK, Diplo, Sonny Fodera, Steve Angello and Kaskade as one of the best DJs and producers in the game. CID is one of the highest selling artists on Beatport with two GRAMMY nominations and hundreds of millions of streams to his name and has performed at the biggest festivals on the planet including Coachella, EDC and Tomorrowland. CID broke into the mainstream in 2013 when he won his first Grammy for his work on Cedric Gervais’ multiplatinum hit remix of Lana Del Rey’s “Summertime Sadness.” In Feb. 2019, CID notched his second Grammy nomination, and his first solo nod, for Best Remixed Recording for his remix of “Audio” from pop supergroup LSD. With a hunger to constantly evolve himself as an artist, CID will be at the top of the dance music scene for decades to come.
