Let’s get the party started. Steve Aoki returns for DIM MAK 30 TOUR at Victory Hall on May 29. It’s a grand celebration for 30 years of Dim Mak.
Steve Aoki: 2x-GRAMMY-Nominated artist/DJ/producer Steve Aoki is a true visionary. His career boasts a lauded cross-genre discography that includes 9 studio albums and collaborations with Lil Uzi Vert, Maluma, Ne-Yo, BTS, Linkin Park and Louis Tomlinson amongst others. A true renaissance man, Steve Aoki is also a fashion designer, author and entrepreneur. In 2012, he founded THE AOKI FOUNDATION, which primarily supports organizations in the field of brain science research. In addition, Aoki has pushed his clothing line Dim Mak Collection to new heights, both with original designs and collaborations with everyone from A Bathing Ape to the Bruce Lee estate. Aoki’s journey is chronicled through the Grammy-nominated Netflix documentary I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead (2016) and his memoir BLUE: The Color of Noise (2019). In 1996, he established Dim Mak, a trendsetting record label that has launched global acts like The Chainsmokers, Bloc Party, The Bloody Beetroots, and The Kills, in addition to early releases from acts such as ZEDD and Diplo. In the summer of 2020, Aoki unveiled his Latin music imprint, Dim Mak En Fuego, continuing to break down musical and cultural boundaries ‘by any means necessary.’
Ian Asher: Ian Asher is a 21 year old artist, music producer & DJ from Southern California. Ian’s passion for music & initial inspiration for becoming an artist began in his childhood when he fell in love with the work of artists ranging from Calvin Harris to Daft Punk. Within just the past few years, Ian has collaborated with many of the top songwriters in the world including Andreas Carlsson, Paul Harris, Stuart Crichton, The Orphanage, Bryn Christopher, Kareen Lomax, Neil Ormandy & DSIGN Music, where he has worked on Billboard topping projects like ITZY’s “Crazy In Love” as well as his own original music which is set to debut at the end of this year. Alongside this, Ian has built a dedicated following online consisting of millions of fans who love and enjoy his work and eagerly await the next phase of his artistry.
Laidback Luke: From his origins in the house and techno underground to his current more eclectic style, Laidback Luke has always been a leading light in music of the present day as well as the future. The Dutch hero continues to enjoy a hugely varied and consistently noteworthy career in the game. With a reputation as a serious talent scout and for being one of the nicest guys around, he has built himself a mightily impressive musical empire that has touched the highest reaches of the music industry. Recent times have seen him continue his dancefloor domination by producing a slew of killer tracks with both the world’s biggest names and newcomers alike, including Afrojack, Dubdogz, Will Sparks and GTA. His commitment to discovering and nurturing new talent is key to his ethos, with his reputation as a mentor proceeding him. For him, it’s only natural to share his wisdom and support in the same way his peers did when he was coming up.
