The first annual ‘Will Run for Tacos!’ Event at Seward Park last Spring was so much fun that we’ve decided to do it again and make it even more amazing! This year there will be a 5K, 10K, and a half marathon option run routes mapped out across beautiful Seward Park in South Seattle. We will have incredible local area DJs donating their time and incredible talent to the cause so we can keep the dance party going all day long!

We will have Tacos at the finish line (stay tuned for taco details) and 30-minute pre and post run yoga will be offered by Yogini Rose at 10am and 1pm. Finally, there will be a “bike refreshments crew” providing electrolytes, snacks and tunes to stretch and boogie to along the route and keep runner’s spirits high!

To commemorate Earth Day, all event proceeds will be donated to Got Green, a local social justice focused nonprofit whose mission is: “Got Green organizes for environmental, racial and economic justice as a South Seattle-based grassroots organization led by people of color and low-income people. We cultivate multigenerational leaders to be the central voices in the Green Movement in order to ensure that the benefits of the Green Movement and Green Economy (green jobs, healthy food, energy efficient and healthy homes, public transit) reach low-income communities and communities of color.”

Suggested donation per adult participant is $20 to $50 (kiddos 12 and under free).
