Josh Wink & Steve Bug

Hunt & Gather returns to the Monkey Loft with their Summer diversion featuring Josh Wink and Steve Bug. Josh Wink and Steve Bug are two iconic figures in the world of dance music. Both of these artists have been making waves in the scene for over two decades, and their contributions have been instrumental in shaping the sound of electronic music as we know it today. Together, Josh Wink and Steve Bug represent two of the most innovative and forward-thinking artists in dance music. Do not miss this rare opportunity to catch them both in Seattle!

Josh Wink: Josh Wink is a Philadelphia-based DJ and producer who got his start in the late 1980s. He is perhaps best known for his 1995 hit “Higher State of Consciousness,” which is widely considered a classic of the acid house genre. Since then, he has continued to push boundaries with his innovative productions and boundary-pushing DJ sets. Wink is also the founder of the legendary Ovum Recordings, which has released music from some of the most influential artists in dance music.

Steve Bug: Steve Bug hails from Germany and has been a fixture in the electronic music scene since the early 1990s. He first gained attention with his early productions on the Raw Elements label, and he went on to found his own influential imprint, Poker Flat Recordings, in 1999. Bug’s sound is a unique blend of house, techno, and electro, and he is known for his impeccable mixing skills and dynamic DJ sets.
