EmeraldCityEDM.com is excited to announce that the grand opening of Foundation Nightclub has been rescheduled for August 16th with Paul Van Dyk!  Support by local legend Johnny Monsoon.  Ticket information will be posted in the comments section below once available.

Originally scheduled for July 13th 2012 with Nadia Ali, an official statement regarding the show was released by Foundation Nightclub via Facebook on July 11th: “Due to unforeseen delays in the construction of Foundation Nightclub, the anticipated grand opening date of July 13 will now be pushed back to a yet-to-be-determined alternate opening date. On account of these delays we will be unable to move forward with our originally scheduled performance by Nadia Ali at the grand opening of Foundation Nightclub. We look forward to having Nadia back for a make-up date on September 28th, and providing Ms. Ali’s fans with a long awaited Seattle performance at that time.”

Per the article “Seattle impresario Chad Anderson at epicenter of electronic dance music“ on USC Events by the Seattle Times: “Anderson plans to launch a digital-music label, Conscious Records, and open a new, 650-capacity electronic dance club, Foundations, in Belltown”.   Foundation will be located at Western & Blanchard in Belltown (former site of Venom/Medusa).

Acts booked as of the writing of this post include Nadia Ali, Sasha, Felguk, and Paul Van Dyk – stay tuned for more bookings to be announced in the future!  It is very exciting to see that Seattle is finally getting the caliber of nightclub that we deserve, the artists and DJs will follow.  Though I do hope that the capacity isnt really limited to 650 people, Seattle needs a slightly larger venue than that if Foundation is going to continue booking these legendary artists!
