Live Nation Gorge Employee Arrested at Bass Canyon
Grant County Sheriff’s office announced that a Live Nation employee at the Gorge was arrested for DUI and vehicular assault at last weekend’s Bass Canyon music festival. Julian Flores, of Othello, was driving a Polaris Ranger ATV and struck a pedestrian on the main road between the Pivot area and Silica Road. The victim sustained a head injury and lost consciousness before being transported to the Quincy Valley Hospital.
Flores appeared intoxicated and there was an open container in the ATV. He was arrested for vehicular assault and driving under the influence and booked into the Grant County Jail. As of the writing of this article, Flores has been released from custody on his own recognizance. Officers later determined that Flores had been drinking alcohol before the crash. The victim is expected to make a full recovery.
