Today’s featured music is the Eureka! EP from Kozmo released January 12th, 2016 on ShadowTrix Music, an underground west coast bass music record label founded by Trevor Kelly and Treemeista. The Eureka! EP includes six original tracks plus remixes by Kowta, Pilz Beats, The Digital Connection, BOATS, Pacific Patterns & Elevated Mind. We are especially loving the track “Press Triangle To Grind”, with its funky bassline and catchy rhythm, along with “Star 69” with its glitched out trap and instrumental overlays which remind us of Sidecar Tommy of Beats Antique.

Tacoma native Nathan Ramos, aka Kozmo is an integral member of the local bass scene in the PNW and is a a part of Tom Kha Productions, a local collective here in Seattle who has been setting the standard for bass shows. His motto is “Reminding you to listen…”

Biography: We all have had that moment when the electronic dance music scene has turned from an interest into an obsession. Nathan Ramos, a.k.a. Kozmo, is no exception to this notion. Even before Kozmo was fully aware of his affinity for all things bass, a history of playing piano, bass guitar and saxophone had already solidified his passion for music. Kozmo now brings that passion to the dance floor, combining elements of glitch and dub into a unique blend of melodic robotic vibes guaranteed to take you on a cosmic journey from start to finish.
