Michael “Lil’T” Tello, co-founder of the seminal West Coast collective Uniting Souls and producer for chart-topping house outfit PillowTalk, kicks off Flammable Audio with “R U Ready,” the debut release from Brian Lyons and Jordan Strong’s new label born from Seattle’s legendary Flammable, widely recognized as America’s longest-running house music club. Rooted in the sun-soaked pulse of Los Angeles, inspired by the timeless spirit of Chicago house, and infused with the grit, soul, and swagger of New York City, Tello delivers an original that feels both steeped in house music’s heritage and unmistakably forward-thinking. Thick, warm, and irresistibly driving, expertly layered jackin’ rhythms lock effortlessly with a dub-soaked funk bassline, while shimmering synth textures and evolving melodies create a hypnotic journey built for discerning dance floors and lasting DJ sets alike.

At its emotional core is a stirring flow from New York lyricist CHiPS. His poetic delivery brings depth, vulnerability, and humanity to the production, transforming an infectious club record into a powerful meditation on rhythm, connection, and expression. The release is further elevated by an exceptional remix package from three artists whose histories are deeply intertwined with Flammable’s legacy:

• Seattle veteran and longtime Flammable resident Doza (LawnChair Generals, Sublevel) delivers a chugging, acid-tinged reinterpretation, pairing West Coast jackin’ percussion with lush, evolving synth work and a hypnotic acid line that perfectly bridges deep house and late-night warehouse energy.
• Acclaimed producer and globe-trotting Flammable resident Pezzner (Get Physical, Hunt And Gather) completely reimagines the original through his signature musical lens. Jazzy drums, soulful Rhodes, subtle horn arrangements, and a powerful low end combine to create a richly textured remix that is both deeply emotive and undeniably dancefloor-ready.
• Rounding out the package, Jordan Strong (Uniting Souls Music, Windhorse), co-founder of Flammable Audio, pays tribute to the club’s enduring legacy with a timeless, groove-driven vintage house interpretation. Live-played bass and guitar, organic percussion, and uplifting melodic textures evoke the soulful spirit that has defined generations of Flammable dance floors while offering a fresh perspective for today’s listeners.

Finally! The cat’s out of the bag! Seattle house music club Flammable Sundays is a true legacy, going every week since the mid ninieties, making it the longest lasting weekly house music event in America, if not the world, and it’s an absolute honor to be working along side founder and resident dj Brian Lyons to co produce this much needed label! Watching him pour his heart and soul into his music and scene over the years, all the amazing bookings of the country and worlds finest, and all the local support including yours truly – I’m so happy to be able to give back and just to simply be involved.
