With Decibel Festival taking a semi permanent hiatus, you can satisfy your craving for a multi-venue fall electronic festival at various venues in Seattle this September/October! Chance of Rain in its inaugural year is proud to present a fresh concept of urban-influenced art, music, and fashion to the greater Seattle and NW region for 2016!

We have pulled together a crew of unprecedented talent to set the groundwork for creating this ambitious endeavor, and we are looking forward to establishing Chance of Rain as a staple of Seattle’s ever-expanding and formative cultural landscape. The first installment will take place September 28 – October 2, 2016, rain or shine. Expect to see showcase-oriented events, as we are working with local music labels and production companies in an effort to bring the Seattle electronic community together to celebrate and show our best while drawing in national and international acts. Supporting crews and labels include: Bottom Forty, Bounce Brunch, Decibel Festival, False Prophet, Flammable, Grounded, Institution, Lost Boys, Peloton Musique, Shameless, Studio 4/4, Uniting Souls, Viva Recordings and more. We are also proud to announce our venue partners: Q Nightclub, Crocodile, Re-bar, Monkey Loft, and the Islander Yacht. We are adding more artists and showcases to our roster daily. We are approaching this year’s forecast with confidence, holding the creative spirit of Seattle at the forefront by paying close attention to establishing relations within our crew, venues, sponsors and the community. We know that we have big shoes to fill with the hiatus of Decibel Festival, and we salute the many long years it took cultivating the Decibel program and brand (and many of us were involved in that). For Chance of Rain’s inaugural festival, we are focused on building a presence, team, and approach rooted in community and co-creation that lays the groundwork for growth and development in the years to come. By setting a concept into motion that includes art and fashion, interspersed with a carefully curated music lineup, Chance of Rain intends to inspire, entertain, and amuse. We invite you to join us! Festival passes are on sale now.
